More 250 road accidents have been reported in Astana in the past 24 hours, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the local police department.

Due to the deterioration of weather conditions, all municipal services were put on high alert. 250 road accidents occurred in the city within the past 24 hours, a statement from the police reads.

Police reminded of the closure of roads in 10 regions for poor visibility caused by rain and snowstorm.

Police urge the drivers to reduce car trips and not to leave settlements in bad weather conditions.
