Over 3,800 babies born in N Kazakhstan since Jan

For the past 10 months 3,862 babies were born, while 4,535 people died in North Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to the National Statistics Bureau department, 1,977 baby boys and 1,885 girls were born in the region between January and September this year. The highest birth rates were recorded in Ualikhanov, Akzhar, Zhambyl, and Shalakyn districts, the lowest rates were reported in Akkaiyn district.

4,535 people died in the region for the past 10 months. The primary causes of death in the adult across the region are diseases of the nervous system up to 21.5%, blood vascular system diseases up to 15.8%, respiratory diseases up to 14.4%, and diseases of the digestive system up to 9.2%.

Death rates from accidents, poisoning and injuries reached 6.8%.

2,388 marriages were recorded since January, while 1,118 couples divorced.
