Over 400 Kazakhstanis may stay in Israel without consular registration
Over 400 Kazakhstani nationals may stay in Israel without consular registration, Official Spokesperson of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aibek Smadyarov said a briefing today, Kazinform Agency reports.
According to Smadyarov, the Ministry and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tel Aviv launched a hotline for the nationals staying in the territory of Israel and their relatives living in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh Embassy and Air Astana airline company are compiling a list of the nationals willing to come back to Kazakhstan.
"118 Kazakhstanis want to return to the homeland," Smadyarov said.
In his words, the Government is currently working on organization of a special repatriation flight to Israel in the nearest time.
"Approximately 400 citizens of Kazakhstan may stay in Israel without consular registration," he added.
The Ministry has handled more than 500 phone calls from the Kazakhstanis in Israel so far.
"77 Kazakhstani nationals including the employees of the Kazakh Embassy and their family members have been registered by the consular service. Five Kazakh students are studying in Israeli universities. About 30 Kazakhstanis are undergoing traineeships in various healthcare facilities of Israel. 112 people in total,” he noted.
In his words, our diplomats in Tel Aviv maintain constant contact with the nationals of Kazakhstan in Israel.
