Over KZT 3.7 bln channeled in development of N Kazakhstan resort zone
Over the past five years, more than 3.7 billion tenge was attracted for the development of Imantau-Shalkar resort zone in North Kazakhstan, governor of Aiyrtau district Yerbolat Bekshenov said, Kazinform News Agency reports..
He said tourism growth continues year after year. This year there were recorded over 95,000 arrivals. There are 3,600 bed places available across 44 tourist facilities in the region.
The development of infrastructure attracts investors for the construction of new sites. 39 km of roads have been repaired since 2017. 22 land plots were allocated this year in the territory of Kokshetau National Park for the construction of tourist establishments, three more were allotted for the life-boat stations on Lakes Shalkar and Imantau.
