Paid services' increase contributed inflation in 2012

ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM "Paid services' price increase by 9.3 percent has made the largest contribution to inflation in the past year," Chairman of the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov informs at the Government hour in the Majilis.

"Prices of communications services, public transport, education, health and tariffs for housing and communal services were increased significantly," A. Smailov explained.

According to him, hot water rates' were increased by 10.8 percent, electricity - 10 percent and the central heating - 9.3 percent.
