Pakistan to host next ECO Summit in 2010

TEHRAN. March 11. KAZINFORM /Yernur Akanbai/ The next, 11th ECO Summit is to be held in Pakistan in 2010. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has announced it at a press conference dedicated to the results of the 10th Summit; Kazinform reports.

?Pakistan?s President Asif Ali Zardari offers holding of the 11th Summit in Pakistan in 2010?, the Iranian President said. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad informed of election of the Afghan representative as the ECO Chief Secretary. According to him, at the Summit the sides discussed ways of overcoming the crisis, issues of development of economic, financial and trade relationships. Following the results of the Summit the Tehran Declaration was adopted.
