Pakistani Minister considers Kazakhstan's recovery plan to be effective
ISLAMABAD. April 1. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Bakhytbek Shabarbayev has met with Pakistan Minister for Water and Power Mr. Raja Pervez Ashraf, co-Chairman of the Kazakh-Palestinian Intergovernmental Commision for bilateral cooperation; Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy in Pakistan.
The Kazakh diplomat told the Minister about President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s Message to the Nation ?Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity?. Mr. Raja Pervez Ashraf expressed confidence that Kazakhstan adopted an effective plan on countering negative economic tendencies.
The Minister particularly emphasized the measures of Kazakhstan's Government to maintain social stability in the country. He added that the world financial crisis caused many countries to suffer from difficult economic situation, including Pakistan.
At the meeting the sides expressed satisfaction with a high level of bilateral relations and discussed the issues of trade-economic cooperation between the two countries. In particular, the course of execution of the 6th Intergovernmental session solutions was considered. The sides agreed that the Intergovernmental Commission would hold a regular session in Islamabad in October, 2009.
