Pamela Spartlen got acquainted with oil projects in Atyrau region

ATYRAU. November 11. KAZINFORM /Andrei Sokolov/ USA Deputy Ambassador to Kazakhstan Pamela Spratlen visited Atyrau region has started her acquaintance with the region from the Tengiz Oil Filed.

At Tengiz, where joint Kazakh-American enterprise "TengizChevroil" works, P.Spartlen inspected the second generation plant allowing to increase the oil production from 14 to 25 mln tons per year. The sides discussed the prospects for development of the enterprise, planning construction of one more plant at Tengiz.

P.Spartlen met with First Deputy Governor of the region Bolat Daukenov in Atyrau as well. The interlocutors discussed the investment activity of the American companies working in the region. B.Daukenov informed on new projects, realization of which is scheduled. He wished that American companies would be engaged both in oil production and other sectors of the Kazakh economy and services rendering.
