Parliament adopted Law on state support of innovative activity

KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) considered amendments, introduced by the Senate to the bill ?On introduction of amendments to the Law of Kazakhstan ?On state support of innovative activity? at the plenary session, Kazinform reports.

The Law is aimed at providing efficient mechanisms of implementation of state support of innovative activity by means of innovation grants, financing a complex of measures and innovative projects through the institutes of innovative development on repayable basis and in other forms. Extension and improvement of competences of the Government, authorized agency in the field of innovative activity and other central and local executive agencies is provided. In whole the Senators introduced 16 amendments to the bill. Upon the discussion, the Majilismen approved the amendments. The Law was adopted.
