Parliamentarians of Kazakhstan to take part in 132nd Assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The delegation of Kazakhstani parliamentarians headed by Majilis Speaker Kabibulla Dzhakupov visited Vietnam within the official trip to the country. The 132nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is scheduled to open there today.

The main theme of the forum this year is sustainable development goals after 2015. Majilis Speaker K. Dzhakupov is expected to deliver a speech.

It is planned that K. Dzhakupov will meet with President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Council Saber Hossain Chowdhury and speakers of the parliaments of Vietnam, Jordan and Sweden.

Today, Kazakhstani parliamentarians visited Quang Ninh province - developed industrial and tourist region in the northeast part of Vietnam.

K. Dzhakupov met with Permanent Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee Do Thi Hoang there.

Mr. Dzhakupov congratulated everyone on the 85 th anniversary of founding of the Communist party of Vietnam and on the 70 th anniversary of independence of Vietnam.

The Majilis Speaker informed his interlocutors about important programs implemented currently in Kazakhstan. It mostly regarded the new economic policy "Nurl Zhol".

The sides emphasized the promising cooperation spheres such as tourism, oil and gas sector and interaction within establishment of the zone of free trade with the Customs Union, the press service of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan informs.
