Participants of CSTO motor run cross Belarus

On 6 September participants of the motor run met with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha at OAO Motovelo. According to bikers' leader Alexander Bordyuzha, people in Russia know that the Belarusian head of state is fond of motorcycles. Therefore, many Russian bikers extended the best wishes to the Belarusian President.
After the meeting with the head of state members of the motor run made their way to the Belarusian-Russian border via Mogilev Oblast and Gomel Oblast. "The last place in Belarus visited by the bikers was the memorial in the village of Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin District, Gomel Oblast," Vladimir Zainetdinov said.
The next night stop on the way of the bikers was Russia's Bryansk, BelTA informed.
BelTA reported earlier that the multi-day motor run across Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia kicked off in Brest on 4 September. Three experienced Russian bikers with MINSK TRX 300 motorcycles produced by OAO Motovelo are expected to cover over 10,000km within a month. The bikers will visit Minsk, Moscow, Penza, Orenburg, Astana, Bishkek, and Dushanbe. The project will finish in the capital of Tajikistan on 30 September. During a solemn ceremony local border guards will be presented three M1NSK motorcycles. Results of the motor run will be reviewed at a meeting in Yerevan on 1 October.
