Participants of XX Forum of Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Forum sign five agreements

The plenary session of the XX Forum of Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Forum has been held in Ufa on November 26-27. Following the forum, the participating countries have signed a program of interregional and cross-border cooperation, which includes about 140 events in 12 distinct sectors, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the forum's press service.

Within the framework of the plenary session, a ceremony of document exchange, signed on the margins of the XX Forum of Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Forum, was held. The exchange was conducted in the presence of Galymzhan Koishybayev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Dmitry Patrushev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Akim of the Aktobe region Askhat Shakharov and head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the akimat of the Aktobe region. A similar memorandum was inked by the Kostanay region and the Bashkortostan government.

Akims of the North Kazakhstan region and Abai region, as well as the governor of the Omsk region also exchanged the documents.

Commercial agreements were exchanged between Nikolay Arbuzov, First Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Timur Zharkenov, Deputy Chair of Kazakhstan's “Atameken” National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. The General Director of Slavtrans-Service JSC, Deputy General Director for Commerce of KTZ Express and a representative of Poliking New Horizons Tech Industry completed the exchange of agreements.

Earlier, Kazinform News Agency reported that Russia's Novosibirsk region plans to open new productions in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar region.

Meanwhile, trade turnover between the North Kazakhstan region and Russia’s regions reached $480 million.
