Pavlodar region generates over 26,000 jobs since Jan

63 enterprises of Pavlodar region raised salaries for 57,000 workers. Wages rose by 16% on average, Kazinform News Agency quotes Pavlodar region governor Assain Baikhanov as saying at the central communications service.

He said one of the primary duties of a governor is to ensure employment and the generation of new jobs. The Head of State assigned to create 100 jobs per 10,000 people annually. For the past 10 months, there were generated 26,533 new jobs.

The governor also said the mayors of the cities and districts have an opportunity to quickly address many pressing issues at a local level. As of now the mayors independently adopted decisions to implement over 200 projects worth 7.7 billion tenge next year.
