Pavlodar region to build 30 healthcare facilities in 2 years
Pavlodar region is set to build several schools and 30 new healthcare facilities in the nearest two years, governor Assain Baikhanov said it at a briefing in the Central Communications Service, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The region has already commenced construction of two schools under the Comfortable School national programme. Construction of three more schools for 1200 students each will be launched in 2024.
54 schools were modernized to the total amount of 6.5 billion tenge. The remaining 162 schools will be renovated in the nearest two years. 46 school buses were purchased to transport children from small settlements.
According to him, 20 healthcare facilities were overhauled and 400 units of medical equipment were purchased. In 2024, the region plans to spend 2 billion tenge on overhaul of 17 healthcare facilities. 4.3 billion tenge will be spent on the purchase of 398 units of medical equipment.
In general, the region plans to build 30 healthcare facilities within two years under the Rural Healthcare Modernization programme, Assain Baikhanov added.
