People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan: Beginning from Sept 1 universities to deliver lectures on ethnic tolerance

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - On September 1 all higher education institutions of Kazakhstan will deliver lectures on ethnic tolerance, this has been announced today during the second meeting of the Association of heads of departments of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan.

According to the deputy chairman of the Assembly - head of the department for People's Assembly of Kazakhstan at L.N. Gumilyev Eurasian National University Anatoliy Bashmakov, the lectures will have a positive impact on the younger generation's recognition of the Kazakhstan model of tolerance and accord. The event was attended by representatives of the Secretariat of the Assembly, the heads of People's Assembly of Kazakhstan departments of universities, employees of the center for peace and accord, research centers, teachers and students.
