People's IPO information support meeting held in Astana

ASTANA. May 17. KAZINFORM A seminar-meeting with participation of Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Kelimbetov and heads and editors-in-chief of mass media gathered in Astana to debate information and analytical support of the People's IPO programme.  

Information and Culture Minister D. Mynbai, Vice Minister of Economic Development and Trade A. Iskendirov, heads, editors-in-chief and journalists of the country's leading mass media took part in it, the Samruk Kazyna Fund's press release reads.

Those gathered were presented up-to-date information concerning realization of the People's IPO programme.

"As the Head of State stated, the key goal of the People's IPO is to give a regular citizen of Kazakhstan an opportunity to own shares of the country's largest companies and earn profit in the future. The idea of social justice, people's involvement into economic growth of the country lie at the root of the programme," he added.
