Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to int'l organizations in Vienna delivered credentials to OSCE Sec Gen Zanier
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation, taking into account the high level of well-established relations between Kazakhstan and the OSCE. Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the organization and conducting of the Astana Summit in 2010 were important milestones of the cooperation, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
H.E. Mr. Kairat Sarybay noted that Kazakhstan appreciates its membership in the OSCE as an opportunity to develop an active dialogue with the European countries. It was also noted that Kazakhstan intends to advance its membership in international organizations, including the OSCE, in order to raise rationalization, greater efficiency and result oriented approach. The Kazakh diplomat stressed out that implementation of the initiatives of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will be the major aspects in all areas of cooperation with the OSCE.
