Petropavlovsk railway station evacuated over bomb threat
PETROPAVLOVSK. May 17. KAZINFORM 400 people were evacuated out of the railway station building due to a telephone call about a bomb.
Landside was roped off by police officers, rescuers and security agencies. The bomb was not found. Search for the "joker" is in progress.
This is the first telephone terrorism this year. 8 such incidents were registered in 2011.
False message about a bomb provides criminal penalty under the Art. 42 of the Criminal Code "False report about an act of terrorism", which reserve punishment up to three years imprisonment or a fine ranging from 200 to 500 of minimum penalties.
