Petropavlovsk veterans to receive KZT 190 thousand on threshold of 70th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - The veterans of the World War II will receive 190 thousand tenge on the threshold of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great patriotic War, Mayor of Petropavlovsk Marat Tasmagambetov informed at the meeting with the people.

"Soon we will be celebrating such a significant date as the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Any country that honors the past has a bright future. Our President reminds us of it every time emphasizing that veterans is conscience of our children. Most probably, there is hardly any family that wasn't affected by the war. 162 veterans of the war and war workers live in our city," the mayor of the town stressed. On the initiative of Governor of the region Erik Sultanov and with the support of the council of veterans, the reconstruction of the Victory Park began in the city. "Paying a great respect to the exploit and courage of these people, the city maslikhat made a decision to increase the nonrecurring payment to the veterans of the war living in Petropavlovsk to 100 monthly calculation indexes and to 25 monthly calculation indexes for war workers," M. Tasmagambetov said.
