Pilot ejects as Indian MiG-27 crashes
NEW DELHI. November 10. KAZINFORM An Indian air force MiG-27 ground attack aircraft crashed in Rajasthan, western India, on Wednesday according to the IANS news agency. The pilot ejected safely; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
It is the fourth crash involving a MiG-27 in India this year.
The MiG-27 was initially produced in the Soviet Union but was then produced in India under license by HAL. The Indian Air Force operates around 150 of the type.
