Plane crashes in Kyzylorda region, killing one pilot

ASTANA. June 29. KAZINFORM An-2 plane crash Friday killed a pilot in Kyrylorda region, according to the Kazakh Ministry for Emergency Situations.

An-2 plane of Asia Continental Airlines Co. crashed while fertilizing a rice field near Shagan settlement in Kyzylorda region on June 28.

The 44-year-old pilot died at the crash site, the second pilot was injured and taken to a hospital. Local firefighters put out the fire that started right after the crash.
