The images showcase a unique alignment of six planets visible in the night sky, with captions identifying each one.

“Since January 21, six planets of the solar system can be seen in the sky at the same time. I photographed them and collected them into a single panorama with captions,” the photographer shared.

He describes the image, in which four bright planets are distinctly visible: Mars shines in the eastern sky near the stars of the Gemini constellation, while Jupiter is positioned high above. Venus, the brightest of them all, can be seen low on the western horizon, and Saturn appears nearby, closer to the horizon, partially hidden by trees in the photograph.

“Two more planets, Uranus and Neptune, can be seen with binoculars or a camera (they’re barely noticeable dots in the photo). The night sky is also currently adorned by a star cluster. The Pleiades, the recognizable constellation Orion, and the beautiful bright stars that I’ve also noted in the panorama,” he also wrote in the post.

Earlier Kazinform reported that astronomers anticipate even more spectacular views in early March when Mercury joins the alignment. Around March 8, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn will form a cluster near the crescent moon, completing the arc of seven planets visible from Earth.
