Plant in Kazakhstan to produce 3.5 mln tyres by 2027
As part of his working trip to Karaganda region the Head of State visited the KamaTyresKZ plant in Saran, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda press service.
The Head of State got acquainted with the production cycle and prospects for the development of the tyre plant.
Tatneft director general Nail Maganov and KamaTyresKZ director Radyi Burganov told the Kazakh President about the completion of building and assembly works and complete delivery of manufacturing equipment.
The plant produced 30,000 tyres last month. 234 billion tenge was invested in the plant that was placed into full production. The plant is expected to manufacture 1 million tyres during the first year.
The Head of State surveyed the tyres assembly workshop and production lines.
The equipment for the plant was acquired in Latvia, Italy, Portugal, Japan and other countries. Some 800 units of equipment are installed there.
590 employers are working at the plant so far. It is planned to increase manpower by up to 1,125 people.
Since July the plant has delivered tyres to the domestic and foreign markets.
