Plant on cathode copper production put into operation in Karaganda region

BALKHASH. December 9. KAZINFORM /Olga Petrenko/ A plant on production of cathode copper "Sary Kazyna" LLP has been put into operation in Konyrat village near Balkhash town of Karaganda region during a nationwide telebridge with participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

"More than 20 new large enterprises will be put into service in our region by 2015. Today we are ready to launch new production with participation of social entrepreneurial corporation. It is a plant on production of cathode copper. More than KZT 7 bln was invested in this project," Karaganda region governor Serik Akhmetov reported to the Head of State.

The President noted that Karaganda region actively develops various sectors of economy. "Industrialization is our today's national idea at this stage and I see that multi-industry economy develops in Karaganda, hence Karaganda is a center of our country. Today I want to congratulate you, wish you all the best and launch the new enterprise," N.Nazarbayev noted.
