PM and Mayor of Astana visited capital perinatal center

ANA. December 28. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov and Mayor of Astana city Imangali Tasmagambetov have visited a perinatal center in Astana today the reconstruction of which was held under the Road Map Program.

The Prime Minister and Mayor were demonstrated departments of the reanimation center, day patient facility and a new delivery department equipped with modern medical facility answering the new requirements for security of maternity and childhood. They were also demonstrated photographs made before the reconstruction where the Head of the Government noted: "... this is the Road Map in action".

The perinatal center is designed for 150 beds and has a maternity welfare center rated for 500 visits per a day. The center also has 12 individual delivery rooms, new technology for obstetric aid and developmental care for newborns with the weight from 405 gr.
