PM expresses concern on development of meat processing in country

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Within a session of an enlarged Collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has expressed concern on development of the sphere of meat processing in the country; Kazinform reports.

?Yesterday I held a meeting with representatives of the deputy corps, on which issues on meat processing were asked. At present this question is a one of less developed. What projects are implemented on this direction??, The Premier asked. As ?KazAgro? Holding?s CEO Assylzhan Mamytbekov noted, that there are three projects, which are connected with development of meat production and its processing. ?Now we produce as many as we use. The country has not a task to produce more meat. We face a task to open a niche for export and to assure private capital, that not only grain, but meat too can be export?, the CEO said.
