PM heard reports on ''Western Europe-Western China' project's implementation

ASTANA. November 1. KAZINFORM Today in the Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Karim Massimov has heard the reports of Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kussainov and Governor of the South Kazakhstan oblast Askar Myrzakhmetov on accelerated construction of Western Europe-Western China international transport corridor in the South Kazakhstan oblast and purchase of land parcels for construction of the line in the region.

According to the Prime Minister's press service, A. Kussainov and A. Myrzakhmetov informed of development of a schedule of purchase of land parcels needed for construction. "202 km out of 232 km of the roads are free for work. As for other 30 km, two third of them will be bought out by December 15, 2010", the Minister said.

He also added that construction of Western Europe-Western China corridor in other regions - Kyzylorda, Aktobe and Zhambyl oblasts - is being carried out according to a schedule. 400 km of the international transport corridor will be put into service by the yearend.

Governor of the South Kazakhstan oblast Askar Myrzakhmetov informed the PM of preparatory work, inspections and mobilization of contractor organizations as well as on availability of all necessary building materials.
