PM held several meetings in Ukimet Uyi
ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM Today in the Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held several working meetings, Kazinform has learnt from the PM?s press service.
In particular, the Head of the Government has had talks with General Partner of ?Wolfensohn Capital partners L.P.? James Wolfensohn .The parties discussed prospects of development of the relations between ?SamrukKazyna? National Welfare Fund and ?Wolfensohn Capital partners L.P?. K. Massimov got acquainted with the company?s investment plans and expressed interest in further mutually beneficial cooperation.
Issues regarding expansion of cooperation of Kazakhstan development institutes with Russia?s ?Vnesheconombank? were discussed at a meeting with Chairman of this Bank Vladimir Dmitriyev. The parties focused on interaction in oil and gas industry, energy, agriculture and establishment of an infrastructure fund.
On the second half of the day K. Massimov met with the World Bank delegation during which Vice President of the Bank Shigeo Katsu introduced new regional director of the World Bank for Central Asia Motoo Konishi to the Prime Minister. The meeting was also devoted to the discussion of further development of partnership relations between the RK Government and the WB.
