PM: Kazakhstan keen to study Luxembourg's experience in Islamic financing

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan is keen to study Luxembourg's experience in terms of development of Islamic financing, Prime Minister of the country Karim Massimov has told a press conference at Ukimet Uyi today.

"For Kazakhstan the development of Islamic financing is an absolutely new sphere. We cannot boast extensive experience in it. That is why it is important for us to discuss with Luxembourg and its authorities their experience in terms of development of Islamic financing in Europe," Premier Massimov said. The head of the Kazakh Government also added that Kazakhstan wants to study the European experience of introduction and development of Islamic financing within the framework of the Astana financial center which is being developed in the Kazakh capital.
