PM meets with Cisco Systems reps

ASTANA. January 27. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov held a meeting with the representatives of the American company ?Cisco Systems? – one of the leading international companies in the IT sphere; Kazinform refers to the Premier?s press service.

Within the meeting prospects of cooperation and opportunities of further development of telecommunication network in Kazakhstan were discussed. ?Cisco Systems? CEO and Executive Director John Chambers expressed readiness of the company to participate in implementation of projects on development of telecommunications network in the spheres of healthcare, education and training of the Kazakh IT-specialists. In this connection it is planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation in this sphere between the ministries of healthcare, ministries of education and science and the Kazakh Agency for Informatization and Communications. Finally, the sides noted a big potential of cooperation for further development of the Kazakh IT-market.
