PM Smailov inspects Kentau TPP ahead of winter season

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov who is on a working trip to Turkistan region visited thermal power plant in Kentau and inspected preparation  works for the new heating season, Kazinform News Agency reports citing local administration.

Kentau TPP suppliesheat and electricity to more than 3,000 facilities, including multi-storey and private residential buildings, commercial and budget organizations.

Major repairs are ongoing on six boilers, for the first time in the last 10 years.

“Four boilers are ready. The heating season in the city is scheduled to begin on November 1. Two more boilers will be overhauled, which will also contribute to ensuring the stability of the TPP’s operation,” Smailov said.
