PM Smailov visits intl exhibition in Moscow
On the threshold of the CIS Heads of Government Council’s meeting in Moscow, Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov visited the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The stand of the Sverdlovsk region displays a joint project of Kazakhstan and Russia for the production of lifting equipment in the Special Economic Zone of the North Kazakhstan region. A pilot batch will be released in November 2024, while commissioning of the enterprise is slated for 2025.
Chelyabinsk region’s stand presents projects on localization of the production of bulldozer equipment and agricultural caterpillar tractors in Kazakhstan, as well as construction of a plant for the production of water and gas pipes.
St. Petersburg stand showcases the projects on localizing the production of medicines and technical modernization of enrichment factories in Kazakhstan.
During their visit to the exhibition, Alikhan Smailov and the heads of delegations from other countries also surveyed the stands of the Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, Moscow region and other regions.
