PM urged to set up commission to clarify cause of accident at CHP - 1 in Semey

ASTANA. January 11. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov charged Asset Isekeshev at today's government sitting to establish a commission to clarify the cause of the accident at the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) - 1 in Semey and punish guilty ones.

Akim of East Kazakhstan region Berdybek Saparbayev reported that the main cause of the accident that happened to the life support system of the city was an excessive ware of the CHP boilers.

'The problem of Semey city can be resolved if funds from the national budget are allocated', B. Saparbayev said noting that KZT 7 bln needed on that purpose.

The Head of the Government gave instructions to resolve all the problems.

'Mr. Isekeshev, I charge you to establish a commission to clear up the cause of the accident. We will punish persons responsible for it and resolve the issues', the Prime Minister added.
