The Eurasian Creative Guild held celebration of Nauryz holiday in London, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

A great beginning of the new year starting from the day of the spring equinox was the celebration of Nauryz and Iftar in London, said Marat Akhmedzhanov, moderator of the event, vice chairman of the Eurasian Creative Guild, founder and editor of the Hertfordshire Press. ‘This event is held by the Eurasian Creative Guild, OCA and Orzu Arts magazines, and begins a series of celebrations dedicated to the 15th anniversary of OCA magazine.

According to ECG chairman Marta Brassart, the event featured a number of presentations and performances.

Kazakhstani Nurym Taibek and Gagauz poetess from Moldova Nadezhda Tanova presented poems, included in a new edition of the poetic anthology ‘Voice of Friends’. The book by Tajik writer Gulsifat Shakhidi ‘Akhriman - - the Lord of Darkness’ and the geographic book ‘Elish and Braided Narratives’ by Tatar-Uzbek painter Timur Akhmedzhanova were presented…, said Akhmedzhanov

The event held at the Yunus Emre Institute brought together over 70 guests.

The London-based Eurasian Creative Guild is a venue of meeting of professionals of all spheres and forms of art, uniting tens of figures of culture from around the world – writers, musicians, dancers, illustrators, graphic designers, sculptors, and poets.
