Poland interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan in education

The organizers of the event are the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Poland and ?Perspektywy? Polish Educational Foundation. Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland universities was established in 1998. Over this period the sides have signed six agreements and memorandums in science and education. Last year nine tutors of the Al-Farabi University participated in international conferences in Poland. Lead scientists of Poland universities gave lectures within the training programs for PhD scholars. As B. Zhumagulov noted the strategic aim of Kazakhstan's University is to become an international center of education in the Central Asian region. ?To obtain this goal we need to develop educational technologies, international cooperation, postgraduate training and bind science and production?, he highlighted. According to head of the delegation, Principal of the Warsaw University of Technology Włodzimierz Kurnik, the system of higher education of Poland is notable for high competitiveness in the European Union. ?The graduates of the technical universities are in demand on the labor market?, he said The Polish delegate spoke for increasing the number of Kazakhstani students studying in Poland under Bolashak program and providing trainings for the Polish students at Kazakhstan's enterprises.
