Police inspector to protect diplomatic missions attacked in Almaty

ALMATY. November 5. KAZINFORM - Today in Almaty at about three o'clock in the morning there was an attack on the police inspector of Internal Affairs Ministry regiment to protect diplomatic missions, who was standing guard at the residence of the Embassy of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press service of the Internal Affairs of the city informs.

An unidentified person hit him on the head with an unknown object. The police officer with a closed head injury and brain contusion was rushed to hospital.

For the investigation of the crime the proceedings have been inituiated by the Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty with a special investigative team of the most experienced staff of operational services.
