Police seized carcasses of goitered gazelle and wild boar in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. KAZINFORM - The police investigate three facts of poaching in Balkhash district that took place recently, the press service of the department of internal affairs of Almaty region informs.

According to the information, three criminal cases were initiated against the poachers. The first fact of poaching was registered when the police detained a 38-year old, resident of Ily district, who had a carcass of a wild boar and "Sapsilmaz SA-X 700" rifle in his car. Then, a 47-year old suspected of goitered gazelle illegal hunting was detained at "Rubezh" checkpoint. Another fact of poaching was registered in the vicinity of Karoi village where the policemen detained one of the locals with 133 muskrat skins and 97 traps. The total damage is estimated to be about 2.5 million tenge.
