Population of Uzbekistan exceeds 37.5 million people
As of January 1, 2025, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 37,543,167 people, UzA reports citing the Statistics Agency.
Of these 18.6 million are women and 18.9 million are men.
As of July 1, 2024, Uzbekistan’s population stood at 37,134,2 thousand people.
According to the Statistics Agency, this indicator increased by 2.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
Of which 18,437.5 thousand are women, 18,696.7 thousand are men.
18,940.4 thousand people live in urban areas, while 17 193.8 thousand people live in rural areas.
On December 6, Kazinform reported that Kazakhstan’s population surpassed 20, 243,000.
