Premier of Chinese State Council to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM National Economy Minister of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev met with Assistant Commerce Minister of China Tong Daochi, the Kazakh ministry's press service said.

"China is the close neighbor of Kazakhstan and is a strategically important trade and economic partner. We enjoy friendly and allied political ties," he noted. The sides debated interregional cooperation issues, preparations for the forthcoming visit of Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, to Kazakhstan December this year. As stated there, the sales between the two nations for January-September made USD 13,3 bln. The volume of direct investments of China into Kazakhstan reached USD 11,8 bln for the first six months of 2014.
