Preparation for PA of Turkic-speaking states discussed in Astana

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Chairman of the Majilis Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of Amzebek Zholshybekov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Kazakhstan discussed the issues of preparation for the 2nd meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states. The press service of the Majilis informs.

The meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly is scheduled for late April.

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are current members of the Turkic-speaking States Parliamentary Assembly. The first meeting of the organization was held in Baku in spring.

The issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation and further extension of the Kazakh-Turkish relations were discussed at the meeting.
