Preparatory work for census helps to address issues of illegal migration
ALMATY. February 10. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ Almaty authorities continue preparatory work for the national census, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Three groups on illegal migration, created two months ago headed by the deputy akim of Auezov area, have had regular tours of ?Kalkaman?, ?Altyn Besik? and ?Alty Alash? micro-districts on the issues of illegal migration. 1 052 houses were visited and verified during the tour. It emerged that 612 houses are accommodated by 2 108 tenants, 2 085 of them are citizens of Kazakhstan and 23 are from the CIS countries. The results of the tour revealed that 1 227 citizens live without registration.
Reps of Regional Internal Affairs Department (RIAD) and Migration Police processed protocols for 331 Kazakhstan?s citizens and 18 CIS citizens. Administration of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance identified 15 shops, 11 baths and one shoes facility to repair shoes in violation of corresponding requirements. This work will be carried out according to the schedule drawn up in the office of the Akim and will be completed in the nearest time.
