Presentation of Kingdom of Denmark held in Almaty

ALMATY. May 8. KAZINFORM /Dauren Zhailin/ ?Denmark is a perfect place for tourism: picturesque surroundings, beautiful beaches, lively cultural program and traditional sights?, Trade Commissioner of Denmark Jens Jungersen Thomsen has said today at the presentation of the Kingdom of Denmark in Almaty.

The event is organized by the Danish company ?Viewpoint travel Scandinavia? that has been working in the tourism industry for over 20 years and offers full service and expert management of holiday tours. Reps of Kazakh tourism agencies were invited to the presentation. As J.Thomsen noted, Denmark is one of the oldest countries of Europe with population of 5.3 mln people, rich history and diverse Scandinavian nature. ?Today we want to present Denmark not only from the point of view of recreation and culture. Business-tourism and experience exchange are developing very fast as well?, he said. The diplomat expressed hope that despite the current global crisis, more and more Kazakhstanis will take interest in Denmark.
