President charged to build airport for Kenderli resort and desalinating plant

ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has charged today to build an airport for Kenderli resort in the Mangystau region and a desalinating plant.

"It's a very beautiful place. We need to build a flying field. It is essential to attract Kazakhstani investors and transfer the management to some large tour operator. There is a sea in the region and we should make use of it," the President said the enlarged Cabinet meeting at the Akorda Residence. According to CEO at Samruk Kazyna National Welfare Fund JSC Umirzak Shukeyev, it is planned to construct two hotels there in two years to come to accommodate1,500 people.
