President checked construction of Shuchinsk-Kokshetau highway

KOKSHETAU.  August 19. KAZINFORM  /Yernur Akanbai/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev has surveyed the course of construction of Shuchinsk-Burabay highway  within his visit to Akmola oblast today.

The highway is a part of Astana-Kokshetau autobahn. Construction work in this sector is carried out by Kazakhzholkurylys LLP. Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kussainov reported to the President on the course of the work. According to the local akimat, the project is being realized in conformity with a plan and schedule. KZT 12 bln allocated for the project's implementation have been utilized as of August 1, 2009. 1 200 people are involved in road building work.
