President congratulated Karaganda region's miners on professional holiday

AGANDA OBLAST. August 27. KAZINFORM  /Valentina Yelizarova/ Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the Miner's Day in the town of Saran today.

The President congratulated all miners of Karaganda oblast on their professional holiday to be marked Sunday.

"Miner's work is the hardest and most honorable one. This work is also very dangerous; therefore our state gives special attention to the safety measures. Those investors working in coal mining sector are always charged to ensure safety of their employees", N. Nazarbayev said.

"I love this region. I respect and admire the miners. To my mind this is the most heroic work in the world", the President added.
