President congratulated Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on his election Primate of Russian Orthodox Church

ASTANA-AKORDA. January 28. KAZINFORM President Nrsultan Nazarbayev has sent a congratulation message to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on his election the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kazinform has learnt from the Presidential press service.

?I am confident that the choice of the Orthodox Eparchy has become an acknowledgment of your merits before the Church and society and a high appreciation of your work for the good of the country including tuning up a dialogue among the world religions?, the telegram reads. The Head of the State invited His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill to take part in the III Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions scheduled for July 1-2, 2009 in Astana.
