President familiarized with reconstruction of milk processing plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk

UST-KAMENOGORSK. March 25. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has familiarized with modernization process of "Raimbek Vostok Agro" milk processing plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk today. The plant is reconstructed within the state program on forced industrial-innovative development.

The cost of the project is KZT 1.2 bln. Production of long-term storage food will be started at the plant this month. The designed capacity is 30 thousand tons of products per year. The plant was reorganized from a small enterprise with 17 employees and three types of produces goods into a large corporation uniting 25 enterprises and organizations.

The plant reprocesses milk from 20 farms of eight districts of the region. It supplies its products to Almaty region and Altay territory of the Russian Federation. Regional Governor Berdybek Saparbayev informed the President on the main strategic directions of social and economic development of the region and realization of the forced industrialization program.
