President met with Head of National Bank

ASTANA. November 10. KAZINFORM Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev received Chairman of the National Bank Grigory Marchenko, the Presidential press service reports.

G.Marchenko informed the President on the current financial situation in the country, in particular, at the financial market.

"Since the beginning of the year the exchange rate has been stable, at the same time we didn't intervene in the last few months. The gold assets of the National Bank increased. Exchange assets of the Bank exceed USD 30 bln", the Head of the Bank said.

G.Marchenko also informed that new high-tech production - security printer - would be lunched at the banknote factory as well.
