President Nazarbayev defined priorities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in CSTO in 2012
President Nursultan Nazarbayev told about priorities of Kazakhstan's work on the post of the CSTO chair-country.
Today Kazakhstan has taken over presidency of the CSTO and defines priorities of the work for the upcoming year: the first thing - protection of the information space of the Organization. The second one - further development of forces of the collective response. The third - preventive protection of the airspace in the Central Asion region and etc.
"The next session of the Council is decided to be carried out in Moscow in 2012. Kazakhstan considers the CSTO as an important instrument of cooperation and interaction in the sphere of military construction, ensuring the national security, defending sovereignty and territorial integrity among the Organization's member states," the President said.
