President Nazarbayev hands over prizes to Paryz laureates

ASTANA. December 9. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ A solemn awarding ceremony of winners of "Paryz" businesses' social responsibility contest has been held today. President Nursultan Nazarbayev handed over the major statuette to Tim Miller, General Director of Tengizchevroil LLP.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, last year the company allocated KZT 2.9 bln for the Igilik program. This year TCO has allocated KZT 116 mln for social investment programs. They are directed to improvement of quality of healthcare, education in Atyrau region.

The president handed over two special prizes: "Industrial breakthrough" to the Copper Smelting Plant and "Leader of industrialization" to Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC.
